Industrie #4: Franca Sozzani by Terry Richardson

Vogue Italia's Editor-in-Chief Franca Sozzani graces the cover of Industrie Magazine's fourth issue shot by Terry Richardson. Just look at those big, pale blue eyes, arresting aren't they? And that patent black coat by Burberry is ♥ But seriously speaking, what I love about Franca is that she's not afraid to speak her mind and that she goes straight to the point.

Fighter

Perhaps one of the best songs that Christina has ever recorded. It's very empowering. At least that's what I think.

 Makes me that much stronger.
Makes me work a little bit harder.
Makes me that much wiser,
so thanks for making me a fighter.

Made me learn a little bit faster.
Made my skin a little bit thicker.
Makes me that much smarter,
so thanks for making me a fighter.

US Vogue February 1992: Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington by Arthur Elgort

Supermodels Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington share a smile together on the cover of US Vogue February 1992 shot by Arthur Elgort. This cover is so 90s and I love it. ♥ From their sailor-inspired outfits up to the setting and the text layout of the cover, it's all perfect. These were the times when models used to rule every major fashion magazine cover. If only we could turn back the time.

Irreverent

So, after leaving her position as the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Paris for 10 years (2001 - 2011), Carine Roitfeld is now a freelance artist. Since her departure, she did some styling works from Chanel's F/W 2011 campaign with Freja Beha Erichsen shot by Karl Lagerfeld, a 75-page spread at V Magazine's Fall 2011 issue dedicated to Elizabeth Taylor all shot by Mario Testino and some other styling gigs in which she had showcased her incredible skills as a fashion editor.

Now, with all of the things that she did in the fashion world, most especially at Vogue Paris, the former editor of the said magazine decided to sort of like compile all of her works from the past up to the recent present in what she called "Irreverent". And I'm guessing there are some pictures which are included in this book that are unpublished. Here's what the book looks like:

Stunning, isn't it? The book was released last October and I got to know that it's here already from Jenni Epperson's website 'cause she ordered her copy from a certain branch of National Bookstore. After learning that she had finally gotten her hands on this book, I have decided that I should have mine too 'cause this thing is like a must-have for every fashion savvy. So, when I got the chance to visit last night's National Booksotre branch at SM Mall of Asia, I immediately went to the Customer Service counter and asked about a copy of this book. And this is where the sad part comes in as the book is already out of stock. After hearing the sales attendant say that, I was like "You've got to be kidding me!?!" in my head. And it's not like I could do anything just to have a copy of this book so what I did was I just asked on how much does this book cost. In other words, got no luck yet in getting this book. Sigh... -_-

Okay, I think I talk too much so I'll stop now.

Swing, Swing

Something classic for a while. Aren't Tyson's eyes, the lead vocalist, lovely? ♥☺

A Fresh Start...Yet Again

Okay, to be perfectly honest, I have no idea what to say. Aside from welcoming you all to my yet again newly re-vamped blog. I know, right? Again and again? Well, this time, things are gonna be different now. I seriously swear, like from the bottom of my heart, that I would try my very best to update this too-many-times-recycled blog from time to time. And I won't be just posting an entry that talks about fashion but rather, I'd also try to write some stuff about my personal life so that you'd get the chance to have a peek on how my day goes like. ☺

On the other hand, I also changed my image header. In case some of you doesn't know who those two models are, they're Naomi Campbell and Kristen McMenamy shot by Steven Meisel. ☺

So, there you go. Hope this time, you'll follow my blog for real. ☺
